Malin Eld
Malin Eld, who operates Art Advisor, is based in Stockholm and operates throughout Sweden, primarily focusing on the Nordic countries, with an international network.
Malin Eld is an art historian with both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in art history, including the legal course Cultural Property Law and emerging concepts such as digital art history. Both degrees were obtained from Uppsala University.
As an avid art collector, Malin Eld directs the strategic development of Art Advisor's own portfolio and continuously seeks investment potential for our clients. Her role involves curating a collection that includes sought-after works by prominent blue-chip artists while identifying and supporting the work of promising talents in both older Swedish and international art.
With a focus on strategic art investments, Malin Eld contributes to the growth and success of Art Advisor & Placemaking, offering valuable insights and direction.
Our goal is to encourage more people to invest in art, regardless of budget, investing in something with lasting value. This, in turn, impacts the "throwaway" culture that has a negative effect on our environment, with a belief that art is an investment with enduring value.
We continuously analyze the art market, both its current state and its potential future, to provide insightful advice. Our focus is on value and how it changes over time, with a significant focus on contemporary art.
Malin Eld is also a photographer/artist and sits on the board of the Swedish Artists' Association (East), with a keen interest in art, architecture, and design, with a broad network of artists and galleries in Sweden and internationally. Her work as a photographer for many years has helped her understand the artistic process and the sometimes complex art market.
Art Advisor specializes in art consultancy and high-quality art purchases, as well as art in corporate and public environments. We believe that the environment and space are important. We strive to enhance corporate, private, and public environments through art placement and place development.
Research shows that art, beyond its economic value, can add additional values and thereby increase the value of the place, space, or company.
At Art Advisor & Placemaking, we are convinced that art plays a crucial role in communicating various values, such as well-being, where art creates a meaningful framework in every context.
Art Advisor operates in both art consultancy and high-quality art acquisitions.
